  3. How do I get there?

    For The Dublin City Hurling Experience we pick up at the Guinness Storehouse every Saturday & Sunday at 11.30 AM or if you have your own transport you can travel to our Kilcullen venue for an 12.00 noon start.  Ask at your hotel or hostel for transport options or contact us at

    Yes we have plenty of free parking.

  2. Who is it for?

    The Hurling Experience is for everyone!
    It is designed for visitors with little or no knowledge of the sport and is suitable for Individuals, Families or Groups.
    Discounts apply for groups of 10 or more, for under 16s & under 5s go free* Irish locals will also enjoy the experience and will learn many new and interesting things about our national game. If you have family returning to Ireland or visiting friends or work colleagues why not bring them to enjoy this special Irish cultural experience.

  3. Do I need to be physically fit?

    A key part of the Hurling Experience is your chance to learn and practice your hurling skills so some activity is involved, however you don’t need to be very fit and we will tailor the experience to suit all ages and levels of fitness – we’ve had babies & we’ve had 75 year olds play hurling with us.  Even for those who do not want to participate in playing hurling – the audio visual & guided session where we explain all about the game of hurling will be of interest & you can look on as our other visitors practice their skills.

  1. What will I wear & what else should I bring?

    Please wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes, ideally runners. Please also bring a rain jacket just in case we get a shower or two but in bad weather we will move everything indoors. We supply drinks & snacks but please bring extra if you wish as all this hurling can make you thirsty & hungry. Don’t forget your camera !

  2. Is there accommodation, cafes & restaurants nearby?

    Yes – there is accommodation in & around Kilcullen town as well as many great cafes & restaurants. Please contact us @ & we will help you with planning other things to do before or after your visit to us.

  3. What facilities are available?

    We have a full grass pitch for a true hurling experience but in bad weather we will move everything indoors into one of our 2 large indoor halls. All hurling equipment is provided – Hurleys (the wooden stick), Sliotars (the ball) and Helmets offering you some great photo opportunities.

  1. Do you offer discounted rates for children?

    We sure do, we offer children rates (under 16 years) but all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Also children under 5 go free but each child must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

  2. Do you offer discounted rates for groups?

    We do for groups of 10 or more a 10% Discount is automatically calculated on our Book Now page. If you need any help with booking or have questions please contact us directly to discuss your needs, dates, times & pricing.

  3. Can I cancel and do you offer refunds?

    We do not offer refunds, however, if you contact us we are happy to try to accommodate you on a different date or time.

  4. Don’t forget your camera !

    Your experience is going to be a lot of fun so don’t forget your camera – you will have some amazing photo & video opportunities.

  5. Do you capture videos and photos of the Experience?

    Yes we do and we will try to post them on our social media sites within a day or we can also email them if you share your email with us. If you do not want to be included in videos and photographs please let us know. Also if at a later date you want us to remove a specific video or photograph please contact us & we will action as quickly as we can.
